The Lawnflite
908LA garden tractor has all the features of the 903LT,
including a high vacuum deck with anti-scalping
wheels, FAST-ATTACH™ system, optional rear deflector
and integral tow bar.
The 908LA is fitted
with MTD's new patented "Automatic" drive
system. Just by pushing forward on the pedal gives
you variable forward speed, push to the rear and reverse
is engaged. Completely gearless transmissin ensuring
control and ease of use in all awkward areas.
Key to the
improved performance of this ride on mower
is the 18hp Briggs & Stratton engine providing
all the following extra benefits.
- Overhead valve design, 90-degree V configuration
- More efficient operation and increased horse power
in compact package.
- Full pressure lubrication with spin-on oil filter
- Maximum lubrication, increased engine life.
- Dura-Bore cast iron cylinder sleeves - withstands
wear and abuse while providing improved oil control.
- Upper DU bearing and heavy duty lower bearing
- Replaceable, self lubricating upper bearings and
large lower bearing withstands loads and reduces
wear for a longer engine life.
- Dual-clean air cleaner - Pleated paper filter
with foam pre-cleaner ensures double protection
for extended engine life.
