Autumn leaves look beautiful on the trees, but can be a lot of work once they hit the ground. Here are a couple of ideas instead of raking:
If you have just a light, dry layer of leaves you can use a mulching mower to mow them into a nutrient rich meal for your lawn. Simply leave the finely chopped up leaves on the grass and they will settle and decompose.
Use a lawn sweeper to quickly pick up leaves. You can either mow over them to break them down first or simply sweep them up whole. Then add the leaves to your compost pile, put them on your vegetable garden, use as a winter protection for roses and other tender bushes and use them as a mulch around shrubs and perennials. See the range of Lawnflite sweepers available.
